Dramatica Working with Armed Forces Abroad

Dramatica is now working with children of the British Armed Forces posted abroad in Cyprus and Germany.

We have found that having this opportunity is an important way of allowing children living abroad to have access to performing activities that their peers in the UK have on a regular basis.  We aim to offer the children a way to develop their confidence and performance skills in a fun, professional environment.

Alongside Dramatica’s team of actors and practitioners, the children of servicemen and women have been given the opportunity of rehearsing and performing a musical in a professional venue.

We work with up to 100 children per week, splitting them into groups of dancing, acting and singing, all of which come together to form the final production.

Past shows have been inspired by:

  • The Greatest Showman
  • School of Rock
  • Thriller
  • We Will Rock You
  • High School Musical
  • Hairspray
  • Mamma Mia
  • Grease
  • Glee

How Does it Work?

Needless to say, the success of the course starts with the planning.  Dramatica now has extensive experience in how to do this and can offer step-by-step advice.  For further info, contact ruthie@dramatica.org.uk

How Much Does it Cost?

Due to the much larger numbers, we are able to dramatically reduce our fee per child so that the week is extremely affordable (prices compared to our standard UK-run Holiday Theatre Courses).   We are able to offer various prices, depending on numbers of children, whether you would like us to provide T-shirts and trophies for each child and how much you are able to book regarding rehearsal and performance space.
