Cooking Kids – Our Classes and Courses

Calling all Budding Chefs!
We run both weekly after school classes as well as school holiday cookery courses.
Everything we do is designed to give children and young people the opportunity of creating their own dishes using fresh ingredients. Children learn to follow recipes as well as having the chance to experiment. We look at the different ways ways dishes come together and how flavours combine.
Weekly Classes:
Children spend each session preparing a different dish. Depending on the time, dishes are either completed during the class, or are designed to be cooked once at home.
These are priced at £10/session and usually payable termly in advance.
Holiday Courses:
Children will create, prepare and cook a variety of dishes, to serve in our “restaurant” on the final day to family.

About Chef Ali
Alistair Hunt is our Executive Chef and has worked as a Chef and Head Chef for over 24 years.
He currently manages catering in several independent schools as well as running workshops. Ali is passionate about teaching children all about food and nutrition in a fun and inspiring way, and encourages them to cook the things they love from scratch, using fresh ingredients.
Ali oversees everything that Cooking Kids does and runs some of our Holiday Cookery Courses. We are also excited to work with a number of other chefs in rolling out our sessions!
